The purpose of the Church Council is to provide a program of nurture, outreach, witness and resources within the church.  They also provide administration, implementation, and evaluation of the church mission statement.

Missions Committee

The Missions Committee serves and assists the people of NHUMC in obeying the Great Commandment and the Great Commission by seeking to share the love of Christ with peoples and all cultures by being prayerful, being partners, and being purpose driven.

Staff Parish Relations Committee

The purpose of the Staff Parish Relations (SPR) Committee is to discuss, counsel, and support the pastor(s) and staff in matters regarding the effectiveness of ministry and relationships with the congregation.  They also discuss problems or conditions that may impede the effectiveness of ministry.
