Tuesday nights (APRIL-JUNE)

5:30-6:45 pm  // Room 205/207

In the Christian tradition, confirmation is an important stepping stone on the path from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. This class, open to students in 7th to 10th grades, prepares young people to publicly affirm their faith in and loyalty to Jesus Christ, if they are ready.

Students will learn the books of the Bible, key Bible verses, and truths about Christianity that every disciple should know. The class also includes a required overnight trip to Washington, D.C., where Pastor Dave leads students in visiting Arlington Cemetery, Wesley Seminary, Washington Cathedral, and more.

Students must have a good attendance record and pass their final exam in order to take the vows of membership on Confirmation Sunday, at the end of June.
