Getting Connected
Our ministry to students is designed to foster connection with God and each other. Whether you are in junior high or high school, there is an environment to meet you where you're at in life. Our ministries consist of relevant teaching, engaging worship, and opportunities for students to connect with and serve one another.
Engage is our Sunday morning ministry. Our goal is to creatively teach God's Word in modern language that students can relate to. Engage meets every Sunday at 10:30 am in the Student Ministries Modular for high school students and in Rooms 206/208 for junior high students. Various themes are covered throughout the year.
United House is the weekly group environment for 7th through 12th graders that meets every Wednesday in the gym from 6:45 to 8:45 pm. Each week, students experience a combination of games, worship, teaching and interaction with youth leaders and each other. This is the place to experience encouragement and real-life application for their relationship with Christ.
Confirmation, in the Christian tradition, is an important stepping stone on the road from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. The class for students in 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grades prepares them to publicly affirm their faith in and loyalty to Jesus Christ, if they are ready. Confirmation class begins in the spring and meets on Wednesday nights before youth group for 10 weeks.
Confirmation classes begin April 14th.
Confirmation Sunday is June 20th.
Ignite is a student Leadership/Ministry development program for students going into 9th grade through 12th grade. The ultimate goal is to identify each student's ministry/leadership style, develop a biblical foundation from which to lead, and to ultimately place them into opportunities to exercise the gift God has given each one of them to minister to those around them. Ignite meets weekly.
